Rooted in community, mornings in Senegal often begin at a tangana, a neighborhood gathering place where people connect over breakfast, conversation, and a shared sense of belonging. It’s a reminder that wellness begins with community.
Inspired by that spirit, Tangana Community Initiative believes wellness is a human right, not a privilege. We restore dignity by expanding access to wellness, from building safe school bathrooms for students in Senegal to providing thoughtfully curated wellness gifts for people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles.
Every initiative is rooted in one belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to feel healthy, valued, and treated with dignity.
